Британский актер и музыкант Дэррил Рид (Darryl Read) по просьбе создателя Интернет-сайта Astral Piper Дайана Джонсона написал стихотворение в память о Сиде Барретте. Дэррил Рид в середине 90-х один раз встречался с Барреттом, а в 2000-м году исполнил роль Роджера Баннермана (Roger Bannerman) в фильме “Remember A Day”, образ которого был списан с Сида. В этой картине в роли менеджера Баннермана снимался один из первых менеджеров Pink Floyd Питер Дженнер (Peter Jenner).
