Подробнее о сет-листе.
Cannibals: The sound mix was awful (at least form the first row) at the begining of the song, i suppose that it's because there soundcheck was very quick. Although I like the song I don't really think it's a great opener.
Why Aye Man: By now the sound mix was good. The same song as in 2005 with some exchanges of licks between Mark and John McCusker in the outro.
What it is: I loved it. Much better than in previous tours. Mark was picking really hard and with "bite" the intro lick.
Sailing to Philadelphia: A good song, played more or less the same way as on the previous tours.
True Love Will Never Fade: Different arrangement than in the CD and very well sung by Mark.
The Fish and the Bird: Errrr.... I always skip it on the CD but I did enjoy it live. I still think that We Can Get Wild or Punish The Monkey would have been better choices.
Hill Farmer Blues: Very well played with a nice outro. I had read somewhere that the outro was similar to Speedway so I expected more but it's still very nice.
Romeo & Juliet: Same as on 2005 tour.
Sultans of Swing: Short version with just 2 guitars, bass and drums. During the song Mark played nice licks but the outro was too short compared to previous tours.
Oe, oe, oe: The band started playing along with the crowd, but Danny stopped too soon. Mark looked at him like saying 'man, why have you stopped?' and the ended up laughing.
Band introduction: More or less the same as on previous years, except that MK did no reference to Glen Worf's 'large instrument' and he introducted Guy as 'he's a multinstrumentalist, he's the man that keeps you all informed throgh his website"
Marbletown & Daddy's Gone to Knowxville: They are some of my least favourite songs but live they get better. You can see that the band is really enjoying playing these songs.
Postcards From Paraguay: It started OK but after the intro y found it quite hard to hear MK's rythm guitar, the keyboards were too high. A little worse that the promo tour version, but i did enjoy it.
Speedway at Nazareth: An awsome version with the dobro coming down to the stage !!!! The outro was quite powerful.
Telegraph Road: Mark played the National until the break (three lanes mooooooving slow...) I prefered the 2005 version which was awsome, but a good song anyhow.
Brothers in Arms: Mark played it very well, much better than on previous tours. He sung very well too.
Our Shangri La: Same as on 2006 tour. It's a a good song but, in my opinion not an encore song.
So Far Away: Same as on 2005 & 2006 tours. I really enjoyed it and I think that it's a good encore song as people love to sing along with it.
Going Home: I loved it !!!! Perhaps the slow part was to short, but a very good song to finish the concert.
